1997 Dodge Viper Description

Starts at $1! NO RESERVE! CAR MUST GO!Badass Gorgeous 1997 Viper GTS race car9235 milesDevastating track weapon, not for the faint of heart!New Time Jelle built, monster stroker motor 510" dynoed at 522hp and an insane 570 ft/lbs at the wheels. Motor has 2 track weekends on itMoton adjustable coiloversNew 18" OZ wheelsHoosier 345 rears, 335's up frontI bought this car November 2014 for $27,000 and spent an additional $25K+ into it making it a devastating track weapon. You will own pretty much any HPDE track day you show up for in this car. It's a wonderful feeling passing new Z06's and $200,000 GT3's with a 25 year old Dodge. LOLCar weighs 2985 lbs with full roll cage. I have lexan front and rear glass I'll throw in if the buyer wants them. Car would be under 2900 with these installed.Car has new Ron Davis radiator and silicone hoses, it has never overheated even here in June 100*+ temp track days.New dealer installed steering rack installed by renowned Viper tech Eddie Martin, new lightweight battery.Car is mechanically sound, the only issue the car has is when driven extremely hard it seems like there is a fuel issue, it will sputter at high rpm's. I bought a new fuel pump which is included in the final price. The only reason I am selling is I am also tracking a '13 Viper and do not have the room or time for both.It breaks my heart to sell this car but it's got to go.This was the first car I ever tracked so dont be intimated if you are new and looking for a dedicated track car. If I learned how to master this car so can you!I purchased the car from Dick Carter's estate after he passed away. He was a Nascar legend from the 50's and 60's. He raced this car until he died at the age of 81!Car does have a title and VIN, I'm sure in some states you could register it for the street and take to car shows or drive to the track

I had somebody ask me if I have the original interior for the car. No I don't. This is a race car. If you want a street Viper do not buy this car.
