1974 Dodge Dart Description

Super-clean 1974 Dart Sport with approximately 500 miles on the build and only 77,000 actual miles on the car since new. Never any rust anywhere! Everything is new. The engine is a mild performance 318 with mild to moderate Comp Cam. Holley 650 carb (polished, clear anodized type) with electric choke. Edelbrock intake. Petronics ignition. Tough to find original cast iron exhaust manifolds. Rare, chrome Direct Connection valve covers in flawless condition from the 80's (before Mopar Performance). New chrome air cleaner. New Dual Flowmaster exhaust sounds awesome! The car runs extremely well and pulls better than a stock 340. Newly rebuilt 904 trans with shift kit. The car shifts firmly, as it should. New Sure Grip rear with 4:10 gears. New master cyl/booster and front disc brakes work extremely well.

All suspension and steering bushings are in great shape and the cars steering is nice and tight. No play or any issues at all.

New Weld Draglite wheels that shine like crazy. New tires that are the perfect size for the look and stance of this Dart.

Arrow-straight body with new B5 blue paint done right. Trunk and door jambs were painted too. No chips, no dings, no scratches anywhere. The 2-stage paint has not yet been buffed and it already shines extremely nicely, better than off the showroom floor. With a buff job, it would be downright glass-smooth. New vinyl top in perfect condition. Incredibly nice chrome on the bumpers. The rear bumper was modified and rechromed to fit the body and be less bulky. Both bumpers are perfect with no dings or scratches and they shine better than new. The grille and bezels are perfect. Taillight housings are 95 to 98% perfect with great chrome but just a few very very minor pits. All of the trim (brightwork) on the car is in amazing condition. The emblems are 98 to 100% perfect. All four side marker (parking) lights are new and perfect.

The interior is all new as of about 500 miles ago and looks great. The passenger's side door panel plastic cracked on the upper inner portion, but other than that the interior is pretty well flawless. New dash pad (not a cap), new headliner, new front and rear seat upholstery, new carpet, new front and rear interior door panels, new package tray, new arm rests. All glass on the car is very very nice with no cracks or chips and look nice and clear. All windows roll up and down perfectly.

No squeaks, rattles or unwanted noises at all. No leaks of any fluids whatsoever. The car stays cool in all temperatures in all traffic conditions. The car has its original (recored) Mopar radiator. All lights and blinkers work including brake lights, reverse lights and high beams. Blinker cancellors both work. Gas gauge doesn't register fuel. Almost certainly the sender is the culprit. These Duster/Demon/Dart Sport body style cars have shot up in value in the past 2 years like crazy, even the '73 thru 76's. Don't wait until they are out of reach. If you're looking for a really nice one, this is it. You cannot beat B5 blue (this cars original color!) with the black top and B5 interior. Awesome combination!

Clean and clear title in-hand.
