For sale 1974 Dodge Dart Sport very solid body and undercarriage. Driver quality nice black paint, satin black hood scoop and side stripes with black interior. This Dart was refurbished in 2014 and finished in 2015. Was a participant at the Car Craft Summer Nationals 2015 Milwaukee.
This Dodge Dart was born with a 318 cu. in. engine and now has a powerful 340 cu.in. block from a 1971 challenger. The engine has a Melling high volume oil pump, hydraulic .480 lift cam that provides a nice chop at idle, yet is very responsive when you step on it. J heads2.02 intake 1.62 exhaust valves, mini starter, Edlebrock 750 carb, Edelbrock Torker aluminum manifold, and aluminum valve covers. Tuned ceramic coated headers with electric cutouts feed into the 2 1/2 exhaust.The ignition is a Rev-N-Ator with built inover rev limiterand Accel coil providing power through Accelspark plug wires. There is an aluminum radiatorkeeping everything cool, there are 2 trans coolers keeping the 727 torqueflite under control. A new driveshaft and u-joints provide the torque to the 3.91 8 3/4suregrip rear end. there is a 2" drop all the way around giving the Dart a very nice stance. Disc brakes front drum rear. Riddler 17"x7" wheels with G Force BFGoodrich comp 2 ZR205-50 radial tires on the front and Riddler 17"x8" with GForce BF Goodrich comp 2 ZR255-45 on the rear. There are many newfront end parts and also has a frontsway bar. On the outside this looks as a stock 1974 DodgeDart Sport except for the stance but on the inside it has a lot of heart. I think they call it day 2. the Dart comes with many extra parts radio, car cover,1974Dodge repair manuals, complete set of American chrome 15" racing wheels with BF Goodrich T/A radials.
