2002 Dodge Neon Description

Has your kid or kids been nagging you about getting a new car as if they deserve a porshe but you are more in the business of teaching lessons about hard work, appreciation and responsibility? Got the perfect car for them! Get them a brand New to them 2002 Dodge Neon that comes equipped with all of the old lessons car, guaranteed to prepare them for adulating and get them to their destinations !

Carworks fine and has great gas mileage.I used it to drive to my brother who attends Texas Tech and to my cousin's in Austin.Caris extremely reliable.

Now this car isnt every kids' dream by any means. Its not luxury, it is not bluetooth capable. I mean it still uses a cassette for an aux cord :) BUT! it gets the job done! I mean face it: We live in slow Texas and we move at our own pace! Music still plays and you always arrive to your destination.

This car has definitely taught me responsibility, which I will gladly pass on. Let me share the responsibility I learned and some of the great features:

·I replaced a tie rod end on the lower left as well as both lower control arms with bushings.

·Tires are like new (barely driven after new tires were put on) as well as brakes, pads, cylinders, etc.

·There's also a brand new battery as of 3/26/16. I have saved receipts and invoices of parts and some labor.

·The heater has your back for the random 20 degrees we've been having.

·Since you made the pledge to be more active, the car features manual windows, perfect for a great arm workout.

·Body 6/10. Gotta get some scars to earn your stripes on the street, yo. This is the actual mileage, unlike a vast majority of the other cheap dodges you’re finding in this cesspool of used cars

·Half tank of gas included



Now for responsibilities/flaws they can learn (not listed in any order)! The inspection took place on 7/14/15 from 6-7:16pm by Antuan Hervey, owner of Integrity Auto Inspectors. On 3/26/16 he also replaced the battery and a part on the battery. His contact is817-353-0332

·Small Issues

oDrivers Front body weather seal

oBoth sunvisor retainer clips are broken

oPassenger front sunvisor is damaged- they need to watch the roads anyway!

oCigarette burn on both front seat bottoms- guess the previous owner had an addiction!!

oCenter console lid is missing- who needed it anyway

oTrunk body seal is torn

oHub cabs are damage and missing- but that’s easily replaceable

·Larger issues:

oUpper motor mount- busted bushing

oA/C inoperational

oDriver's front side marker bulb blown

o3rd brake light assembly (on trunk) missing

oLots of water in trunk with spare tire-removed as much as we could and let it air dry

oPassenger front door is damaged- previous owner must have had terrible vision

oPaint is peeling at the top of vehicle- hey we are not judging your hairloss

oPassenger fender is damaged- im convinced the previous owner was indeed blind

oOil pan gasket-leaking

oTransmission pan gasket- leaking

oGas Cap broken- easy $10 fix

oAir bag light stays on-

oCracked windshield



Some of the labor was done by a friend who is a mechanic. Contactinformationwill be listed below.Paid off, no lien, clean title, passed safety and emissions and has appropriate tags (but expires 3/16. CarFax Available if you want it! Has two keys. Can leave with it once paid for! Selling it as is. NO EXTREME HAGGLING! Because lets face it! Lessons aren’t pretty! But they are effecting and get the job done!

Recent concern:Car's ignition cylinder randomly locked, causing me to accidentally lock the wheel and not be able to start thecarMay 24, 2015. However it unlocked itself and now starts again. I test drove thecarand had it fully inspected on 7/14/15 by a certified professional mechanic of Integrity Auto Inspectors. Underlying issue forcarlocking is unknown since it was running when the mechanic looked at it. On 3/26/16 battery was replaced andcarwas test driven.Carruns just fine now. Just will need an oil change since it has been sitting.
