1998 Dodge Ram 3500 Description

Up for sale is a very presentable Dodge Ram 3500 dually; designed to be a bit rough around the edges but very charming and fun to drive, stealthy matte black in appearance with minimal chrome, and an exhaust note that is divine...
For its age it is in excellent condition, and the last few years it has received plenty of TLC with many new mechanical and body parts in order to make it last another twenty years of service. Among the items replaced are; turbo, clutch, upgraded 5-speed manual transmission and much more. Also, this is a "non-53" block engine; one of the good ones... ;-) Do a google search on :Cummins Diesel 53 block casting problem" and you will get more useful information, good to have at hand when in the market for this vintage Dodge diesel.
So below is a list of what has been done to it the last few years (from 134,000 miles), receipts are available for most of it.

VP44 fuel pump replaced by a previous owner, as well as an overhaul of the rear brakes.
The receipts totals up to $9000, the body parts, radiator and windshield, and more bits and bobs, not included in that tally. Also included, but not depicted, is a ($400) tonneau cover (has one short aluminum profile bent, and easy fix).
Under the matte black plasti-dip the truck is multicolored; white (8 foot) bed, red doors, and blue trunk door. Body and frame in quite good condition, some minor bubbling on the wheel arches of the front fenders is in essence the only body rust.
A few new items that will accompany the sale; muffler, water pump, serpentine belt and belt tensioner/pulley, new fuel and oil filters.
