1995 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 Cummins Diesel 5 Speed Manual 108K Miles 12 Valve
1995 Dodge Ram 3500 Base Extended Cab Pickup 2-Door Description
I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 3500 with a 5.9 Cummins Diesel backed by a 5 Speed Manual transmission and 3.54 gears in the rear. The truck has just under 109K miles and runs great. The clear coat has come off and it now has a dull finish in spots as was common with these trucks, the red is much more affected than the silver although they both have issues. It has two brand new batteries. Has a nice tool box in back, but I don't have the keys for it. It has a bedliner but is cut out to haul a 5th wheel/gooseneck trailer. The brackets and mounts are included, but they are in the tool box (I put it in the corner of the bed in the picture). This truck is a 2WD truck. I am going to try and sell this on eBay once. For sale locally, so ad may come down before 7 days.
Will need a windshield, headliner has a rip and is sagging in spots, one front hubcap, driver seat has 4-5" rip on the seam, grill and grill frame needs replaced. The ABS and emergency brake light stay on all the time, it may just be a sensor or ? I do not know, I've run the key cycle and no codes come up on the display. Where you would plug it in during the winter, it looks like the extension cord burnt through and you can see spots on the bumper covers and headlight that were burned. The tailgate looks like a fifth wheel hitch or something has pushed down the top lip. Still opens and closes, you only notice when you open the tailgate and look on the sides. The bumper on the rear passenger side has been pushed into the body and left a crease. The inside bottoms of the doors have some rust, which is common. But no rust holes, just bubbling on the seam (not pictured, if you want to see pictures message me). Last two pictures show the crease and the worst spot of any sign of rust on the exterior. Mainly two dings that have surface rust because the paint came off and faint color of rust on bottom of door.
The tread is decent on the tires, but they are older tires so will likely need replaced as they show some cracking. Needs new cupholder because the bottoms broke out. The dash was cracked badly, so I replaced it with a gray one. I still have the dash VIN tag attached to a broken off piece of the red top. You can buy the red dye in a spray can so it matches the interior and you could use the paint to touch up other plastic pieces that have sun fade on them. Missing a red piece that covers up where the jack goes and I'm not sure if the jack is still with the truck or not. Driver side lock needs to be adjusted. The interior could use a good detail. I do not have knowledge of the 5th gear or dowel pin issues having been fixed on this truck. Has a replacement Mopar a/c condenser installed. It had covers over the taillight that made it say "RAM" and a rams head but they peeled off and some of the backing is still stuck on it. The air shields above the headlights are missing and have the backing still on it from where it was attached. The dualie wheelhouse extensions don't have any cracks, just a few small chips. I'm pointing out every thing that I notice is not right with the truck, even if it is not that big of a deal. I want you to know exactly what you are getting and be happy with it. The truck is 20+ years old and in good shape compared to most that have a lot of rust from this generation truck. Expect normal wear and tear on a truck that is this old, although I have tried to point everything out. Small dings or dents can be found here and there. I have just one key to the truck. If you want more pictures of anything, just let me know.
If you are in the area or know of someone who would like to look over the truck for you, just let me know. I want the transaction to go smooth and both parties be happy with the end result. I will help ship this truck anywhere you want it to go, but you have to arrange for all of that stuff. I can work with you on setting up a time for a shipper to come get it and I will have the truck ready to load. Title is in hand and ready to transfer.
