2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Description

'06 Quad Cab Short Bed SRW 3500 4x4 Laramie. Nicely optioned with heated seats, adjustable pedals, leather, heated mirrors, PW, PL, ABS, etc. . . This is the truck you want with the 5.9 Cummins in it. No emissions problems, no DEF (exhaust fluid) to deal with, no regen and cycling issues that the new 6.7's have.
250k Miles with all problem area's for these trucks taken care of, easily another 250k in her as she sits. The transmission was rebuilt and the injectors were replaced with new OEM Bosch injectors. There is no blow by. Front end has been entirely redone so you won't get the dreaded "Death Wobble" these trucks are known for (08.5 Steering Upgrade, new ball joints, U-joints, and bearings - all with Mopar or better parts). If you know these trucks that's everything that is ever an issue. Runs great, I only towed a C3 corvette with it once. Paint is not perfect, has some dents in the tailgate and small ones some other places but it's a truck. I've been using Amsoil for the oil and fluids (trans, axles, etc. . .) and have all been changed recently.
Upgrades:
Navigation (Pioneer App Radio 4) and aftermarket speakers (I can't remember what
brand I used, I think either Infinity or Panasonic -- they're mid grade nothing crazy but not cheap either).
Bully Dog GT tuner (gets good mileage)
Top Gun Customs 2.5" Level Springs
TGC adjustable sway bar end links
08.5 Mopar Steering Upgrade
Mopar ball joints, new wheel bearings (SKF), and Spicer U-Joints.
Pro comp dual steering stabilizer
Bilstein 5100's on all four corners
B&W Turnoverball (goosneck from the previous owner)
Firestone rear air bags. (I added these to level out truck a bit and so it wouldn't sag from
the leveling springs when towing or weighted)
Viar 444C onboard air (100% duty).
4th Gen Chrome Wheels
Sinister diesel coolant filter (flushed entire system -- replaced with high quality coolant and new water pump)
Energy Suspension Control Arm Bushings (not installed yet)
BakFlip G2 Tonneua cover with "bak box storage"
Spray in bed liner (previous owner -- some chips)
Weathertech mats up front
Remote start (Dodge factory - not yet installed)
110v block heater (standard)
2006 Tachometer issue fixed and heater hose issue (not serious issues but definitely need addressed)
New rotors and brakes recently as well (new rear calipers too). Also did a brake fluid flush and replaced with synthetic fluid. Front are Hawk pads -- can't remember rear but they're upgraded as well.
