1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Official Indy Pace Truck1 of less then 1500 made.Lowered from factory.These are getting hard to find. And I want it to go to a home where it will be appreciated as the rare truck it is and not just another lowered short box pick up.5.9 liter 360 V8 automatic, 199k miles, runs great and still is VERY healthy.Exhaust has a lose pipe at converter, so it has a deep rumble, I didn't fix it because i was going to put True Dual exhaust on it. (And it doesn't sound bad)NEW rebuilt transmission from a very reputable shop that's been in the tranny business for 50+ yrsThat set me back $1785. And has less then 500 miles on the new tranny.Truck handles like it's on rails.The interior is very dirty but not all ripped or shredded. Dash is not busted, but is missing the heat control knobs, Factory stereo works when it wants to.
Exterior: needs bumpers, they are dented and have rust (Still available) the truck was used as a truck by previous owner so it has quite a few dings and scrapes. VERY SOLID! Body has a rust spot about the size of a quarter. (see picture)All 4 rims (only on Indy truck) are in good condition, rear tires are bald, front tires are weather cracked pretty bad. With new tires, I'd drive it anywhere!!I have the missing passenger rear skirting behind rear tire.I bought with the intention of redoing the body and putting a KennyBell supercharger on a fresh motor, but I bought a bigger shop and that comes with bigger bills, so it wouldn't get done for a while. I have too many Vehicles and I'm letting some go to fund the my building.It is a 21 year old truck so it is being sold AS IS, where is, no warranty.If you have questions please ask.
