1999 Dodge Viper RT/10 Description

LOWERED ASKING PRICE BY $2K. I NEED THE CAR SOLD THIS WEEK! Do your homework before trying to finance (woodside credit is a great option). I will wholesale if not sold by friday.

I am the third owner of this viper and I really do not want to let it go but with my new business venture I am able to upgrade so I need the space for my new car and I have no place for my beautiful RT/10. I refuse to let this car sit outside as it has been garage kept its whole life and it shows. I spent almost 9 months trying to track down this car and I have loved it every moment I have owned it.

This is my third viper, I am a member of all of the forums, and only viper technicians, chuck tator (the viper wizard), and I have serviced this vehicle. The owner before me was in his 70's, and the first owner was a dodge dealership manager. The car was completely bone stock when I purchased it 2 years ago and then from there I researched and addressed any issues to help update the car. The car has no accidents (which is becoming more and more rare these days with vipers), the car has never been tracked, and everything is original regarding the motor and driveline.

This is the best year RT/10 to own, why? All forged internals (most reliable), final interior updates with chrome accents and shifter, and no ABS. If you are looking at a Gen 2 RT/10 you shouldn't buy anything but a 98 or 99. These are the most highly sought after in the viper community.

I bought the car and immediately sent it up to Chuck Tator where the following was performed:

Compression & Leakdown - $250 all within factory specs (good luck getting any other private owners or dealers to do this for you)

3.55 cryo treated gears, installation kit, and speedometer calibration box - $1119

Brass Radiator removed, professionally cleaned, and recored to 3 cores instead of the factory 2 core - $750 (This cools far better than any aluminum radiator)

Transmission & Differential Fluids changed - $350 of fluids

Harland Sharp 1.7 Roller rockers & light weight pushrods - $1000

JMB Cold Air Intake - $415

Billet Power Steering Pulley and Pump bracket - $200

Synthetic Power steering fluid replaced oem (does not ignite or catch fire if it leaks)

Alignment

All Brake fluid replaced

All clutch fluid replaced

New spark plugs

Full inspection of the vehicle top to bottom

All seals greased or replaced (suspension)

These prices do not include the labor for install.

I installed the following:

Belanger Headers with Jethot coating - $3000

Roe Racing High flow cats - $432 (these GREATLY reduced the temperatures of the side sills!)

Corsa 3" Exhaust - $1900 (the most amazing sounding exhaust hands down, I get nonstopped compliments on the way it sounds)

Billet transmission brace and polyurethane mount - $130 (reduces flex and missed shifts)

IPSCO Short Shifter - $340 ( The best shifter for the viper, replaced a sloppy worn oem unit)

Wood house engine mounts with extended heat shields - $400 (reduce flex and prevent motor from touching hood under heavy acceleration or shifting, cars have damaged their hoods with faulty oem rubber mounts that WILL rip and or tear)

Thermal spark plug wires - $250 (a must to protect your wires with the extreme heat)

SCT Tuner with tune from Dan Craigin at Viper Specialty Performance - $800 ( I verified the tune at very high end local shop, all ratios are great and the car runs perfect)

Tinted windows - $250

EBC Red Brake Pads - $300

Gen 4 viper wheels with Michelin pilot super sport tires - $3500 (Tires have less than 700 miles on them, still look brand new)

Oil is changed with the best viper oil filter and Motul performance oil at least 4 times a year, and I doubt I ever go 1000 miles on a filter. (Just very OCD about my cars)

Only high end Premium 93 Octane fuels used (Shell, Sunoco, BP)

Amsoil Coolant

Thermal insulation on AC/heater blower motor and box - my AC runs so cold I have to turn it down ( most vipers cant even cool the cabin, again more issues that I have addressed)

*None of these prices include labor or additional costs associated.

Car includes factory hardtop, tonneu cover, owners manual, I have all of the stock parts from the modifications above except for the headers and catback exhaust. I had no space and it would've been a sin to let them rust away outside. I have the receipts for everything mentioned above. I have a detailing business on the side and the car has been fully polished and the paint sealed. It will not come outside unless it's being shown to a potential buyer or when it's sold. I have been offered $30k by two local dealers and that's me returning the car to stock. I do not have the time or desire to pull parts off the car unless it makes sense to me. I feel as if you really shouldn't want the car any other way. This is the best way to have a gen 2. I am confident for the price I am asking you can NOT get a better gen 2 or even come close to replicating it. If you compare similar cars and their values, if you bought a car stock and tried to duplicate mine it would cost you $45k or more EASY! Plus the values of these cars is increasing by the day.

I really need to sell this car in the next 7-10 days to make room for my new car. I would be willing to ceramic coat it ($1000+ service for free if someone buys in the next 7 days at an agreed price). I am flexible on my number but not much, im open only to trades that benefit me and weigh heavy to my favor otherwise I don't have time to deal with selling another car that I don't have room for.
