1967 Ford Mustang coupe
1967 Ford Mustang Description
This is a real nice little coupe.. Never restored but well cared for and a nice little driver. Starts easy every time and holds a nice idle up here in no oxygen land. Her 289 was removed prior to me and now has a good running 1971 2bbl 302. She has an edelbrock electric choke carb that functions flawlessly. I don't know if the C4 is original to the car, but thats not the selling point. She was painted a shade of Blue that goes between Purple and Blue, depending on how the sun shines on her. The quality of the paint job is less than stellar, but the color itself is beautiful. You may have noticed the 68' pop open gas cap. The 67' screw on cap needed to be thrown away and I've had this one on the shelf for years so I decide to use it instead of purchasing a new one.
We have done some work to her to enhance her posture for the better. New radiator core support and new inner front aprons from a previous accident that left things not looking as good as the rest of the car. Before we started the work we measured the frame rails and every thing is within a couple of millimeters, better than original. A new headliner was installed and when we hit it with some steam to straighten out the wrinkles, a small tear "occurred". Not even noticeable if I hadn't mentioned it, but I am all about full disclosure. We have put in new front and rear glass rubber seals. A new steering wheel and all new dash panels and lenses. We fixed a small leak on the top of the radiator. We have touched up all the paint chips we could find. You can still see remnants of the white paint she was born with. She has two very small spots on the floor pans that have had a repair. Again, probably not noticeable if I had not mentioned it. The rest of the body and underneath look very clean and free of rust holes or bubbles. Being a west coast car, rust is a big deal to us because we really don't deal with it, so I can comfortably say how clean she is.

I don't know when she made her way to Colorado but it is apparent that even though she was in a fender bender at one time, she has been well cared for. I can't emphasize enough what a great running and driving car this is.An after market "mustang" radio was installed previously that is mp3 capable. She is riding on a set of Magnum 500's from a Granada or Torino. As you can see in the pictures their is no power steering or AC. Some one put after market power disc brakes on the front.
