1967 Ford Mustang coupe. Rat Rod
1967 Ford Mustang Description
More smiles to the mile. Here's a 67 coupe that draws a lot of attention. It is the ugliest mustang at any mustang show which is why I like to take it. It never fails to draw a crowd. It was used for about 30 seconds in a B grade movie which never made it big time. It is basically a solid car with good frame rails. Everything works on this car and it has been quite reliable to drive. The engine runs fine but is tired and could use an overhaul. It is a stock 289, two barrel carb engine but has headers so it sounds decent. It has new starter, alternator, water pump, & pertronix ignition. I installed Ford Granada front disc brakes. The doors, fenders, & trunk lid are solid Ford originals. The hood is junk, the front frame rails need repair work where the bumper mounts up and the rear quarters are rusty. I did repair the floor pans, battery apron, torque boxes, etc... The front seats are 70 Mach 1 and have been recovered along with the back seat. The headliner is a Mexican blanket and my daughters drew the designs on the back deck. I have owned this car since 2008. Aluminum wheels are 15" and not all the same brand. This car would be fairly easy restoration but is great to just drive like it is.
