1997 Ford F-250 Description

Up for bid is a 1997 Ford F-250. This vehicle was purchased new and used in our Landscape Division. The truck starts and runs. The a/c cools good. There is a problem with the transmission sticking in 2nd gear. Truck needs a new headliner. There is a dent in the cab above the rear of the driver door. There are holes in the bed where a light was mounted. The paint is in poor condition - has rust. There are small dents in the bed, cab and doors. The rear bumper is dented on the left side. The driver door panel is loose. The shifter is loose. The radio is inoperable and needs to be replaced. There are dual fuel tanks. 7.3 L engine; V8 - diesel. Interior Condition: See pictures. A notarized letter stating the full name of the person (or shipping company’s name and telephone number) authorized by the winning bidder to pick up the vehicle. A valid photo ID will be required to release the vehicle to an authorized person (ex. employee, relative, etc.)
A photocopy of the buyer’s driver’s license, showing the name and address of the person who will be listed as the buyer on the title.

Winning bidder is solely responsible for the transport of the item off of city property. Pick up hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 3:30pm. We cannot schedule outside of these hours because the garage is closed.
