1973 Ford F250 Ranger - New Paint, Fresh Trans, Lots of Power!!!

1973 Ford F-250 Description

I'm selling my daily driver since I live in a HOA community where it's causing problems. We have too many vehicles, essentially. Too bad, since this is my favorite truck.

I picked this up about a year ago from a guy near Torrance, CA. He'd had it repainted (it really pops) and redid some of the interior. He was looking to make some cosmetic upgrades and flip it.

It ran terribly, the transmissions slipped all over, reeked of gas, and needed some major TLC.

Work done since I've owned the truck:

- Engine & transmission pulled and painted

- Transmission rebuilt (receipts on hand)

- New rear main seal

- New oil pan seal

- Other seals as needed

- New Edelbrock 2bbl carburetor,

- Fixed two exhaust manifold leaks

- Relocated the shifter to the floor

- New starter, battery, and solenoid

- New ignition, plugs and wires

- Updated & smaller steering wheel (those old steering wheels are like tractor wheels!)

- New headliner

- New door seals

- Added an open element air filter

- Other miscellaneous/small upgrades/repairs

The truck starts every time. It runs excellent. It has great torque. As I said, it is my daily driver. There aren't a lot of vehicles over 40 years old that can be taken out daily.

It has a 390 V8 with a 2 barrel Edelbrock carb. Stock gears. 2 wheel, rear wheel drive. Automatic transmission.
