1923 ford track roadster Steel
1923 Ford Model T Description
Being relisted - note the last pic shows air cleaner now sticking out of hood due to high rise.
This is a real steel ford older build track roadster on a custom frame and fiberglass nose with steel grill. It has a 500 ci cadillac motor with aluminum intake and new HEI dist and Holley carb also with a turbo 400 trans. All the gauges are vintage stewart warner with exception of tach. It has 4 bar front and rear with coil over shocks and a ford 9 inch rear. It has disc front drum rear brakes. This car rides and drives great with an extra small radiator in rear with fan never overheats. The only reason this car is for sale is im looking for a steel 33 or 34 ford 5 window coupe project. It has a 20 gal fuel cell mounted in trunk. I have driven this car hundreds of miles without problems.
Doors dont open - climb over. Im 6' and 220 pounds and fit but its not roomy. The prior owner vintage raced this car on dirt against other track roadsters. The paint is single stage satin black. Also the car has an aluminum floor.
If your not familiar with the 500 ci cadillac motors of the 70s look them up. Relatively light strong and huge amount of torque give head snaping acceleration but idles down the road. This car has a 3.25 rear gear and will go 65-70 mph all day at 2400 rpm. No rust California car
