2003 Ford F-150 Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at lesat one of those places. An administrative fee of $!49 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Ford F-150 XLT with the desirable FX4 package and the rare manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in two tone blue and gray over matching gray interior, which is a good color combination. As with any older truck, please expect to find a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific truck, the rear bumper is pushed in (as pictured) and there are a few scratches here and there. Body rust is minimal. I only saw a little on the rear door bottoms and a few bubbles on the leading edge of the hood. The frame rails look smooth...good for a truck of this age. There is usual rust in the back around where the spare tire is, too. All in all, pretty good for it's age. The finish shows a little age but is presentable. The body is nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. The bed has a protective liner. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how nice this truck looks.

I would also rate the interior of this F-150 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age throughout the cab. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The cloth seats are clean and comfortable. There is an arm rest in the center with cup holders and a storage compartment that can be folded up to accommodate an additional passenger. Rear passenger room is good and access is easy, thanks to additional doors on each side. Being an XLT, this truck is pretty well optioned. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is the original in-dash CD player and sounds good. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A full set of manuals are also included. Again, please take your time to check out each of the photos and see how clean this truck looks.

Mechanically, this F-150 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. I've personally put the last 100+ miles on this truck with absolutely no issues. The suspension feels as tight as a drum all around. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. There have been no idiot lights on during the time I've spent driving this truck. The engine feels strong and makes good power. The clutch engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Gear changes through the rare five speed manual transmission are clean and smooth, as they should be. Out on the highway, this truck drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints...she feels rock solid. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. She is a fresh New Truck Trade and has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of January, 2017. If you're looking for a nice truck that hasn't been all used up and banged up, take a good look at this F-150 FX4. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
