1967 Ford Fairlane 500 Description
Take a look at this beautiful 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door coupe, with only 26,500 original miles! Other than an exterior repaint to the original Medium Aqua Metallic in 1999, and a new headliner in 2015, the car is all original. The interior is cloth and vinyl, also in the aqua color. The paint remains in very good condition, the chrome is also bright and shiny, and all of the glass is unmarked. The underside of the car appears to have been undercoated at some point, but it is starting to flake off. But other than some surface rust, the frame, floor pans and other metal on the underside is very solid.
The Fairlane is powered by the dependable and proven 200 hp 289 cid V8, topped with a 2 bbl carburetor. The transmission is automatic.
Everything on the car - gauges, controls, lights and the AM radio work perfectly. Recent work on the car includes a brand new dual exhaust system, new steel belted whitewall radial tires, a new brake master cylinder, and the carburetor has been gone through. In recent years, other items have also been updated, including the starter, solenoid, battery, battery cables, fan belt, fuel pump, water pump, and the brake system.
The car starts, runs and drives very nicely. It has a manual steering and brake system. There are air shocks on the rear.
I will be happy to assist with transport of the vehicle.

It can be found on the underside of the hood, on the firewall and cowl, on the radiator cross member, and on the valve covers and air cleaner. This is surface rust only - no structural issues at all. It has not been touched to preserve the originality of the car as much as possible.
