2007 Ford Escape Hybrid Sport Utility 4-Door 2.3L AWD
2007 Ford Escape Hybrid Sport Utility 4-Door Description
4WD/AWD is great in the snow. The transmission is a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) similar to the Toyota Prius. Very smooth acceleration with no gear shifts. The electric motors assist the 4 cyl gas engine during acceleration giving the hybrid similar 0-60 times to the V6 Escape.
Runs and drives fine. All season tires have a good amount of tread left. Tow package installed mostly for bike rack. We've towed a small utility trailer a couple times. Actual miles may be higher since I don't want to leave the vehicle sitting more than a couple weeks at a time. My commute is around 60 miles a day of 55-70MPH highway driving. I've never had any issues.
Second owner. Previous owner was Washington state. I've owned this Escape for a year. The sway bar end links were replaced shortly after I bought the Escape. The parking brake has been adjusted.
EPA 33 city / 29 hwy. I've been getting 28-29 MPG with the new 70MPH speed limit on hwy 84. Fuel economy drops to 26.5 MPG in the winter with studded snow tires (not included).
I'm willing to drive up to a couple hours for serious buyers.
