HOW ABOUT THE TITLE? Clear North Carolina title in hand.
HOW IS THE PAINT? Very shinny black paint on a straight body. I see no dents, no dings and no rust bubbles. We striped all the chrome and bumpers off the car and took it to Peach Tree Auto Painting in Chattanooga for the paint job. The original color was a pale yellow that was faded. The body was straight and good, so we decided to change the color to black. All door jambs and lips are painted black. I think you will like the paint job!
HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!
HORN WORKS! WIPERS WORK!
GAS GAUGE WORKS! OIL GUAGE WORKS!
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Very good interior, seat cover nice, headliner good, carpet and door panels very nice. The worst thing I see is minor wavy dash pad, but it is not cracked. I do see a couple of thin cracks in the steering wheel.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Nice shinny chrome!
HOW IS THE GLASS? Clear glass and the side window do roll up and down fine.
HOW DOES THE ENGINE RUN? Car is a C code in the VION, that means it came out with a 289 cubic inch. It looks like the right engine, but I did not run casting codes. Engine runs good and I hear no knocks or rattles. It is a 2 barrel carburetor car, not a hi-po car, it just has a hi-po air cleaner.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives very good, no power steering, but to me it steers easy.
HOW ARE THE BRAKES? Good for the day, drums all around. The master cylinder is a upgrade split system for safty.
HOW ARE THE TIRES AND WHEELS? Good radial tires on original rims, with style steel hubcaps.
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting C4 automatic.
HOW IS THE UNDERSIDE? Not detailed for show, but to me it is solid. All the floor look original other than the passengers back bottom, it was replaced with flat metal.
WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
