Just coming in, here is a low-mileage gorgeous Explorer Sport with a set of wheels and tires that will knock your socks off and this one is a 5-speed manual too that is ready to hit the key and enjoy. The 4.0L V6 sounds great with no noises or apparent leaks, the clutch is strong and gearbox tight with no pops or grinds, brakes feel perfect despite an ABS light being on and no other warning lights to mention. The truck tracks straight and comfortably going down the road and you’ll just have to get use to all the tire noise because the teeth on these suckers will bite ya. The interior is in perfect shape with immaculate carpets, clean headliner, perfect upholstery and nice dash. All the power windows, locks, stereo, A/C and heat work fine and there are no bad smells or wear and tear inside. The body is in great shape for a ‘99 with good looking black paint, no dents, no major rust to mention and the underside looks clean too. Normal nicks, dings and scratches come with the age but all-in-all a healthy 100k mile Explorer that will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction.

What we do….
My name is Mike and I own Michaels Auto Center in New Hope, Pa. We sell on the average 15 to 20 cars a week on eBay on a wholesale AS-IS basis and have done so for the past 10 years. We buy our cars from the local new car dealerships just as they are traded from their previous owners. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. We start our cars at an opening bid of $500 or $1000, accordingly, and sell every car with no reserve and list the cars for 5 days. At the end of the auction, the cars are sold whether they win or lose money but rest assured they are sold. We don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. It is the buyer’s responsibility to perform a pre-sale inspection or express any and all concerns prior to placing a bid and prior to winning the final binding auction. If you win an auction and we don’t receive your $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end, we will relist the car or offer a second chance offer to the next highest bidder. This is an opportunity to buy a car well below the average retail value if you are receptive to these terms.

Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning
The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working.
Administrative Fee
We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee.
Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates
Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 30 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items.

Payment
If you are a winning bidder, kindly contact me via email immediately at the end of the auction for verification. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly. Let’s not waste each other’s time.
