For the 2012 model year Ford dropped Sterling Grey, but after the tsunami in Japan interrupted paint supplies they brought it back late in the year. As a result, only 38 Sterling Grey Mustang GT convertibles were built in 2012, and only 5 of these had the Brembo brake package. We did a nationwide search to find this exact car and wound up going to South Carolina to get it. Original sticker price was over $45,000. All maintenance is up to date, oil changes only with Motorcraft oil and filters, SYNC updates and other applicable TSBs have been addressed, brakes are new. Michelin Pilot tires just installed Sept 3. It has never been driven in snow or salt and is garage kept.
The car is in beautiful overall condition and everything works as it should. But please be realistic - the car does have 53,000 miles on it so there are a few minor scratches and nicks on rims and probably a tiny stone chip or two, but nothing that detracts from the appearance or is noticeable unless you are really looking close.
Carfax does show a minor accident reported. In 2013 my wife was pulling away from a traffic light on her way to work when traffic stopped unexpectedly and the person behind her in a lifted Jeep didn't stop in time. It hit the car relatively high, requiring replacement of the trunk lid, taillights, & bumper cover but it did not affect the bumper structure or frame. The car was repaired by Jack Demmer collision in Dearborn, MI with a lifetime warranty on the repairs, and there are absolutely no issues with paint match, structural damage etc. Serious prospective buyers are welcome to have the car inspected by the shop of their choice to verify.
