RARE, RARE, RARE ! ! ! !

VERY, VERY, VERY FEW ON THE ROAD NOW.The first 50 pages in an eBay search for “Aerostar Eddie Bauer” yielded not one whole Aerostar for sale.Only 2 non-luxury Eddie Bauer were found; neither had fold down seats or were in this good a condition.Blame “Cash for Clunkers” program to make these nearly extinct?

UNIQUE/HARD TO FIND – Any minivan or SUV model with interior comfy flat bed like this is unheard of!!!Shame on automakers for not making many of these type seats.

REPAIR/UPDATE HISTORY:

Purchased 31 Oct 1987. Repair & maintenance records (oil changes, brake shoes, plugs, etc.): available to buyer at pickup time.

2006 whole-exterior paint job (like original, with 2-tone paint Deep Shadow Blue metallic with Light Chestnut Clearcoat Metallic bottom border).

2006:A/C System upgraded to R134A coolant.

Est. 2007 June: Michelin Harmony tires.

Fairly new battery.

Tires:Good tread. Only 17,752 miles on tires.

Shiny paint.

The sad:Rust – Hardly any in a few areas close to road.

Roof under rack:Paint peeling.

Front Doors:Inside plastic or rubber panel cracked (See photos), junk yards may have replacements.

Radio, digital aspect of side sliding door, & power locks:Iffy—sometime works.

A/C may need more coolant; is anemic.

Won’t start;undiagnosed by a professional. May be as simple as a starter solenoid or bad battery cable.May need tow unless buyer can get it started on site in Louisville.

Front windshield, passenger side:crack from rock damage.

Needs washing & vacuuming cleaning, inside and out.
