2002 Mustang Saleen #212,Don'treally know where to start. Car is 14 years old so it is not in mint condition. Car is very High Performance and almost 800rwhp @7000 rpm 18 psi. Even with the 75k miles on the car everything is new on it. There is over 70k invested in this car in the last 3 years. I am in the process of building a new house and have 3 kids that are in sporting events every weekend, and I run a roofing company and the carliterally never moves. So about the car itself. Car has a brand new motor in it and has no miles currently on the build. Motor is built to handle anything you can put to it. It currently is on a very safe setup making that power. Internals are forged crank shaft made for 2500 hp. All custom Blower JE pistons rods and rings. All arp 2000 fasteners throughout motor. Billet high volume oil pump. Trick Flow ported and polished heads. All stainless heavy duty springs. Brass valve guides. Stainless valves. Large 7 quart oil pan. All heavy duty upgraded timing chains gears and other parts. ATi Harmonic balancer. Brand New Kenne Bell 2.8 Mammoth LC. Also has the Killer Chiller to run 50 degree Air intake temps. Fuel System is a fullreturn style E85 system with105b injectors and 2 465lph fuel pumps. Kenne Bell Billet fuel rails and akennel bellboost a pump. Transmission is a new TKO 600cryo treated. MCleod RXT 1000 HP twin Disc clutch. All poly mounts on transmission and motor. 3.73 gears. UPR K Member with coil overs. Rear isbillstein shocks and saleen springs. BBK lower and upper control arms. Global West ladder frame connectors. Exhaust is BBK Ceramic coated long tube headers back to a bassani catted x pipe (or else the car is insanely loud) and thenborla exhaust. Interior is how it came from saleen. Car does has a stereo system. Nothing over the top but perfect for a convertible and good sound. System was around 2k for complete system. The paint was brand new 3 years ago and the paint job was 15k. Has very expensive paint on the car. There are a couple little rock chips. Thesaleens have a flare in back by the wheels and they love to catch little rocks. Other then that paint is very good. If you see anything in the pics its just refection from how bright and shinny the paint is. The car isabsolutely gorgeous in the sun and at night time in the lights. Has a 31/2" cowl hood for blower clearance. Tires are brand new. Car has been approved through Saleen when I purchased and has all saleen badges. I know I am missing a tone more stuff. But just in the last year the cost are Blower $8500 fuel system $2500, Motor build and parts/heads $18,000 killer chiller $700, TKO/clutch $5000. Previous year was the price of the car at 17k and paint job at 14, stereo etc and missing a lot of stuff. Way too much to remember. Can get any info needed for the interested person. This car is insane on the streets. Car has never been raced. Car was used for some weekend fun and car shows. Every where you would take the car and pull up to it brought a crowd of people around to see it. With that motor it would shake buildings inside and no one rarely sees a saleen or knows what they are. I bought this car at 17k with a stock motor and avortec on it. Now You can get the deal for any one who wants to build a car. Save yourself the money. This is all brand new and can get papers to show it. Save your self the 50k above this price. Only issues with it are the convertible top is not in the best shape. I never have it up when I drive the car and if it is up its perfectly functional. It has two small little tear holes where the hinges are the size of a dime. The glass is not sealed very well. However I do have a brand new top here scheduled to be put on but not for about a month. So I will either take a grand off the price and you can get top if preferred.Other then that everythingis in perfect working condition. Any questions feel free to ask.
