This beautiful and extremely rare Ford F-150 Ranger XLT Trailer Special belonged to my brother in-law who recently passed from cancer. He has always been a Ford truck person but the 78 was the one he always wanted. When he found this rare beauty, he had to have it. Not only is it a very rare trim package, it has the very rare anddesirable460ci big block! Watch the video below and listen to the beautiful sound of that big motor! The Trailer Special package included the beautiful cab clearance lights and built in tool box in the side. A large file of receipts is included, but it is believed his investment at the time of his passing was close to $18,000. Some notable purchases include over $2000 in complete brakes, rotors, locking hubs, etc. from the Ford dealer. 4 brand new tires, paint, radiator, etc.. The list goes on and there are a few parts still in packaging that he never got around to installing. He liked to do the little things, but anything big he took to the experts.
