2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor ex-Vermont State Police, NICE!!!
2011 Ford Crown Victoria Description
This is an extremely clean 2011 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the highway pursuit package. Many CVPI enthusiasts consider the years from 2006 - 2011 to be the best years of this outstanding vehicle's long production run.
This one has 111,706 miles and 2729 hours on the clock. This car comes direct from the Vermont State Police (VSP) Fleet Services garage; I am the second owner. It is in excellent condition all around. It has: Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires with 80-90% tread left), PS, PB, AM/FM radio, AC (blows very cold), 200 Amp alternator, automatic transmission with overdrive, power windows, bucket seats, dual airbags, etc.
Exterior color is Woodland Green, interior is charcoal gray. This cruiser has the rubber floor covering that is standard in most CVPIs. Interior is extremely clean. A Setina barrier is installed but is easily removable. This might be useful if you want to use this car as a taxicab. There were no extra holes drilled when it was installed. All exterior paintwork appears to be original. There are no signs that this car was ever involved in an accident. Everything works as it should. The car drives and handles beautifully. There are no rattles or suspicious noises. VT State Police cars are exceptionally well maintained and their ex-cruisers are highly desired by CVPI enthusiasts in the Northeast. VSP customarily assigns a cruiser to one trooper for the duration of their service life which means they are not in use 7/24 in three shifts like most police vehicles you will find. With a little effort and possibly some new alloy wheels and supplementary lights as well as a center console this could be made into an awesome ride. I would hate to see it end its days as a taxi which is where many of them end up.
Ford ceased manufacturing the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in September 2011. Nice clean CVPIs like this one are getting very hard to find.
Only defects are: The front bumper cover has an abrasion with a small tear on the lower passenger side. There is a tiny "ding" at the front edge of the hood, There is a small rip in the driver's seat back. This could be easily repaired. There are two holes in the roof; one for the lightbar and the other for the radio antenna. There are two antenna holes on the trunklid as well. I also noticed some "dimples" in the trunk lid; looks like it might be minor hail damage. You have yo look very closely to see this but it is there.
Additionally, VT SP use the two front speakers in the doors for their communications radios so the regular radio is heard only through the two rear speakers. The wires going to the door speakers can be found under the front carpet on the passenger side. If you are having the stock radio replaced and installed the folks who are doing the work can easily reconnect them. Otherwise it is a simple matter to do it yourself. Other than these minor caveats there are NO ISSUES whatsoever with this vehicle.
Massachusetts state law requires me to advise the purchaser that this is an ex-public safety vehic used by law enforcement. There are no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied.

A $500 PayPal deposit payment is expected within 24 hours of purchase, balance is payable in either cash or by bank wire transfer within 5 days. I cannot think of anything else to add to this description except this is truly a very clean example of a CVPI from what many consider to be the best years of its production (2006-2011). If properly maintained it will give many years and miles of reliable service.
