1966 Ford Fairlane GTA Description

Beautiful driver quality 1966 Ford Fairlane GTA. This is a true S code 390 big block car with C6 transmission. Motor is non-numbers matching but is period correct with C7ae-h heads, cast iron intake, and Holley 650 carburetor. (Motor has recently been rebuilt with less than 500 miles). Brand new dual exit 2.5" exhaust. Long tube headers were installed. New power steering pump was installed. Car is originally springtime yellow with black interior. The car has been repainted in the recent past, looks and polishes out nicely, but is closer in color to canary yellow than the original factory color. Interior is black, could use some door cards, though the interior is very presentable in its current state. At some point new floor pans were installed. Driver's seat does have a split in it. The headliner is newer but visors (included with sale) were never installed. Car was originally an A/C car, though components were removed. Some of the original A/C components come with the sale and will be included. Car has manual brakes with 4 wheel drums, brake well and straight. Car body is very straight, and gets a lot of attention when driven, Car is listed locally, and seller reserves the right to cancel auction if it sells locally.
