1978 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab F-250 4x4
Extremely Low Miles:72,300
This truck drives very well. It drives amazingly true and easy down the road. It is super quiet with no rattles or squeaks - it's so nice to drive such a low mile survivor vehicle. 72,300 miles are on the odometer box A in Arizona. (Shows original)This truck gets more honks and waves than you can believe. It's old, but I'd drive it anywhere with confidence.
The Ford has a very solid body with bone dry floors, mounts, etc. Paint is old and weathered, but I polished it up anyway for neat look. The pictures make the paint look better than it is. I'm missing one of the headlight surrounds.Doors shut nicely with all regulators moving smoothly. Glass is great and even still has the original Ford marked windshield.
Engine runs extremely strong. 400m V8 that just passed the Arizona emissions test with no problems. The truck starts with the bump of the key. It has a new Edelbrock intake and carburetor, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The automatic C6 shifts smoothly and the transfer case works properly. Dana 60 rear with Posi and 44 front hung from new moderate lift. Disks are on the front and drums on the rear, it stops straight and true.
Interior is in very good shape for being unrestored and original. Nice dash, door skins, headliner and matt. Lights, radio, gauges, controls, tilt, horn, etc work fine. The only exception being fuel gauge. Heater is bypassed but fully functional. Rear seat is missing.
If there's a picture of something specific you'd like to see, let me know. You are welcome to come see it, or have an agent inspect it for you.
Thank you.
