1969 Ford Mustang Description

Selling my 1969 Mustang Fastback.

WHAT IT HAS- Runs and drives great. Garage kept, always. 302 V-8 rebuilt 9,000 miles ago, roller rockers, New Holley 650 double pumper with electronic choke, K&N filters, electronic ignition, aluminum intake, new plugs, wires, distributor, shorty headers with 2 ¼ exhaust with California Turbos, new aluminum radiator, Brand new Tremec T5 transmission with a hydraulic clutch 9,000 miles ago, power steering, upgraded to disc brakes in the front, new rebuilt 9inch rear end with 3.73 gears 9,000 miles ago (not a posi), lowered 2 inches with 17 inch aluminum Shelby wheels, all new interior with 3 point front seat belts. Fully insulated floor and rear seat. CD player and speakers. No extensive rust, no extensive body work, straight metal panels all around, no accidents, AZ car, clean title.

WHAT IT MAY NEED-These are things to note in pictures/things that you may or may not even notice but that I know about so it’s only right that I tell you- missing chrome on front bumper/rust spot on front bumper (see photos) can easily be re-chromed, local guy said $150 just never got around to it. Normal wear and tear on exterior, has original ‘maroon’ colored headliner hooks never changed to black, missing side plastic covers on seats, missing drivers side rear seat belt, fuel gauge is off (starts full tank at 2/3), needs parking brake- Have a ‘modern center console’ that comes with it that I was going to put a pull brake handle in or you can purchase the factory original console with the pedal style parking brake whichever you prefer. Has a new power steering set up but if you know these mustangs they always seem to seep. Horns are wired and work just needs a new turn signal switch in steering wheel console (same thing if you know these mustangs they just wear through the contacts ($79.95 part) easy to install) turn signals still work as is with lights in hood scoop all in working order. Tires have 7/32 but are 9 years old (has 2007 DOT number) but no dry rot or cracking. Total fix cost is approximately $1,500 or $3000 if you have someone else do it for you. Asking price reflects these items even if they aren’t something you would care about anyways.

LASTLY- I have tried to outline and be completely up front here with everything that I know about the vehicle but as stated you are buying this as is, while it has been ‘restored’ you are still buying a 47 year old vehicle so please enjoy the pictures and email me with any questions or email me requesting my number and we can chat on the phone as well if you require more details as I want to provide you with all the information I can so you know exactly what you are purchasing! Serious buyers only, not entertaining low ball offers or ridiculous trades or requests. This is a 90% completed vehicle with enough done to cruise around in as is comfortably/reliably or perfect to buy and upgrade what you see fit and as outlined above. Thank you!
