Up for bids is a 1983 Ford Bronco with a 4.9L 300 I6. It also has the 3 speed C6 auto transmission NP208F transfer case Ford 8.8 rear axleand Dana 44 TTB front with 3.08 gears front and rear. It has sliding rear windows and factory front quad shocks. It seems rare for a Custom trim to have those.
It is a Texas Bronco and has always been in the state. The first 10 years it was owned by TXU energy in Ft. worth and the 2nd owner from the DFW area owned it for over 20 years. I'm the 3rd owner. It was originally forest service green but somewhere alongthe line it got painted red.Since I have owned it I have replaced the following
New carb
New Plugs and wires
New radiator
New A/C condenser
New heater core
New shocks front and rear.
New water pump and fan clutch
The A/C does not work, I replaced the condenser just because I had the radiator out. The passenger fender is dentedin the front near the headlight and hasa rust spot on theBronco on the lower rear that appears to be from the A/C dripping when it worked. There are a couple ofsmall holes in the driver and passenger side floor boards. I removed the vinyl and jewt backing to prevent anymore in the future. They will all weld up easily I just again don't have the time. The engine hasa oil pan gasket leak and the transmission has a small leak from somewhere I have not yet located. I fixed what I could on it I have just run out of time and need to sell it and move on.
On Dec-11-16 at 03:44:37 PST, seller added the following information:The exhaust manifold has a leak at the gasketand the muffler is split open at its seam. I have done a 3G 130ampalt conversion on it as well. That was purchased new from Jeff's bronco graveyard
