2006 Ford E-Series Van Description

2006 FORD E-350 DIESEL VAN WITH QUIGLEY 4WD CONVERSION CAMPER VAN

I purchased this as a cargo van in my companies name (Filter Supply in Farmington, New Mexico) in 2009, it had 44,087 miles on it at the time. I purchased it used from World Class Cars in Patchogue New Yorkand had it shipped to me. I do not remember the exact circumstance but I believe it had beena stolen vehicle. There seems to be some historywhen I do a title search but I have a clear title. I wouldencourage anyone purchasing this van come test drive it. The van is currently in Scottsdale Arizona, but I could easily take it to Farmington New Mexico (where it is nowtitled under my name)if that makes it easier to pick up. I will also assist in any other way I can. Feel free to call me with any questions or additional pics, James 505-320-6697.

After purchasing the van I took it to Ziems Ford in Farmington new Mexico to be inspected.Theyput a new turbo on and installed an ESPARHydronic Heater. It is basically a small diesel turbine enginemounted on the frame that heats the antifreeze and pumps it through theengine. It uses about 1/4 gallon of fuel a night. It can be usedin cold weather topreheat the motor for startingor to run the heaterin the vanwithout starting the vans engine. It has an upgraded programmable controller.

I had D&M Welding and Fabrication convert the insides into a hunting/camper van for myself. Originally It was going to have cushions installed in the foldable back seat with seat belts so that it could convert from a bed into a back bench seat, with storage underneath. I started using it right away with an air mattress and never finished.

There is a compartment under the bed that holds (3) batteries thatare connected to an Freedom HF1800 inverter that runs the TV and microwave. The batteries were tied into the (2) starting batteries on the frame. This was too much load for the alternator and it failed while on a trip 2 years ago. Luckily I was able to make it into the Ford dealer in Star Valley Arizona where theyinstalled anew Alternator. The wire connecting them to the vans charging system was disconnected and it is now charged using a 110v plug-in on the inverter/charger.

It has a Visio T.V. on a custom bracket that can be turned to watch from the bed or outside, or stored against the wall for traveling. It is a smart TV with Netflix but I usually just hooked my laptop up to it. It has a microwave in the cabinet. The Engel Fridge/Freezer is 12v or 110 and is awesome. It will make ice or freeze meat fairly quickly or can be turned down to maintain 40 degrees.

The clear coat on the hood and tops of front fenders is peeling. There is a crack across the windshield.

As my kids got older and life got busier I have used it less and less. The last 2 years I have only used it on one deer hunt in Southern Arizona, and one church man camp near Payson Arizona each year.I love my van and have spent many nights in it but it sits idle too often to justify keeping it. It runs and shifts excellent and is an easy way to wake up wherever you want to be, or just pull over and sleep wherever you are. Thanks for looking.

After listing the vehicle the vehicle report showed up and shows that it was involved in an accident in the right front and that the air bag was deployed. I was unaware of this and changed the title to rebuilt. This vehicle drives wonderfully and there are no concerns.
