I am a Jackson WY resident originally from PA. Those of you familiar with mountain towns know that steady housing is a struggle. I purchased this vehicle with intentions of converting it to a camper and living out of it. Shortly after purchase I was able to secure steady housing and no longer need the vehicle. Since then I have been sitting on it for the past year while working out several minor kinks with the van. Originally it came from an outfitter in Alaska, and I purchased it from a used car dealership in PA. Since then, I've put upgrades and service in to it, all listed below. I've only put a little over 2000 miles on the vehicle since owning it, most driving from PA to WY, approximately 1900 in itself. Since purchase, I've had a Ford certified mechanic go over every nook and cranny of the vehicle. The complete inspection report is available for view below.
· 36,761 Miles (may increase slightly)
· High idle switch - to warm up faster in cold temps.
· Engine block, oil pan, transmission heater by Truckwell of Alaska - plug under hood of engine (pictured)
· XD Wheels
· Nitto Grappler Tires
· Smittybuilt roof rack
· Towing Package
· Aftermarket cruise control installed
· High engine hours - lots of time idling in cold Alaskan temps. (Pictured)
· Fresh oil change within last 500 miles.
· Fresh A/C charge
· Turbo fans recently dissected and cleaned.
· Vacuum pump for brakes recently replaced.
Full inspection report by Ford certified dealer when vacuum pump replaced. Complete diagnostics ran, report came back spotless.
Not so ideal:
· Rear brake pads are different brands, but in good shape. No safety issue, measured good on recent test. (See vehicle report.)
· Small oil leak near transmission, normal for age of vehicle.
· 4 small dings in hood from recent hail storm, hardly noticeable, I couldn't even get them to show in a picture. A suction cup or roller ball would certainly fix them
· All panels are structurally solid with exception of some cosmetic rust on driver/passenger door sill and a small crack at the corner of the side door. The side door also has a few small hardly noticeable dings, I couldn’t even get them to show in a picture.
· Also, the plastic running boards have been fixed with some metal pieces bolted on. (All pictured)
· Spare tire on roof rack does not match other 4 tires. One XD wheel logo is missing. Interior has lots of black marks, but is in solid shape otherwise! (all pictured)
