1997 Ford Ranger Description
1997 For Ranger 4WD in overall good condition. I bought this truck when my new Chevy van was totaled as a temporary vehicle to haul motorcycles. It has come time to part with it. It is N O T a museum piece or like new!! It has 156,621 miles on it. ( that number may be slightly higher by the time it is sold ) The transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner at a local shop at 132,100 miles. The engine runs good, transmission shifts fine and the 4WD works fine as well. The tires have aprox 75-80% tread. The brakes were redone by the previous owner before I bought it in August of 2015 with new Rotors, pads, Rear Brake shoes and hardware and it passed a NYS Inspection with NO difficulty. It has an am/fm CD player in it.
Recently I put a new battery in it, new thermostat and a new muffler.
There is only one thing that it needs, the heat is stuck on the defrost setting. Usually that is due to a vacuum line leak, but it is to cold in NY now for me to take care of it now. It is a very easy fix and the heat is PLENTY hot!!. This is a very good running solid truck. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country.... if my butt and legs could stand it!! It is very reliable!!!!!
It is located in Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Pickup/delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I can deliver it within 2 hours of Syracuse, NY for a fee ( to be arranged BEFORE you buy )
You are welcome to look at it in person, poke and prod and test drive it. Just drop me a line to make an appointment.
NOTE: A $500.00 deposit is REQUIRED within 24 hours. NO EXCEPTIONS
If you have less than 5 for a feed back rating PLEASE contact me BEFORE you bid or the bid WILL be cancled
