2003 Ford Mustang GT Coupe 2-Door Description

I purchased this vehicle in 2007 and it was originally a street car that was partially built. Speed Inc in Naperville, Illinois originally did the work for the previous owner. Here is the list of modifications that were done to the vehicle prior to me purchasing it:
  • D.S.S. 306 Level 10 Short Block with Lightweight I-Beams and Custom Pistons
  • 10.8:1 Compression
  • Modmax Blower/NOS Cams 330/342
  • Stage 2 Ported and Polished Patriot Heads
  • Accufab Throttle Body
  • Fox Racing Race Version Intake Manifold
  • Vortech T-Trim Supercharger with Aftercooler Charge System
  • Nitrous XPress 2 Stage 150 Shot Dry NOS Kit
  • High Flow Fuel Rails
  • Kooks Long Tube 1 3/4 Stepped Headers
  • Custom Fabricated H-Pipe with Dynomax Bullet Mufflers
  • 12 Gallon Sumped Fuel Tank
  • Aeromotive Intake Fuel Pump System with Bosch Exterior Pump
  • Built for 110 Octane Race Gas
  • 4:10 Gear
  • 8 Point Roll Cage
  • Upper and Lower Control Arms
  • Full Pan Bars (Welded On)
  • 10 Point Koni Shocks and Struts
  • Battery Relocation Kit (Trunk)

Shortly after I purchased the vehicle, I took it back to Speed Inc to turn it into a drag car. I have attached those receipts. All of the work done to the vehicle since I've owned itis included in my pictures. The odometer shuts off when you put in a race trans and it read about 13,847. I am calling it basically 1,000 more miles just to be safe but do not want the vehicle to get an unknown mileage discrepancy when the true miles can easily be pulled off of the vehicle's computer. Some of the work included at that point is as follows:
  • Race Prepped TH400 Trans
  • Moser Axle and True Trak Package
  • Vortech 8 Rib Upgrade w/ 2.95 Blower Pulley
  • TCT TH400 10" Converter
  • Custom Length HD Chromoly Driveshaft

The vehicle was always tuned by Bob Kurgen of Kurgen Motorsports and was only sprayed twice on the dyno. The bottles have remained empty ever since. After Speed Inc completed the car, I made a few passes on it and put it back in the shop to retune and work out some small things. Unfortunately, Bob Kurgen had moved his operation to Georgia and was no longer available. I took it to another very reputable speed shop called High Speed Performace. They retuned the vehicle, changed plugs, wires, etc. and I picked the car up again. I made two more passes on the vehicle and put it away for the winter.
Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 2013, I took the car to Straightline Performace in New Lenox, Illinois. They retuned the vehicle, added the race seats, a couple more gauges, regapped the plugs, etc. I have also included the receipts for that as well. After they completed the vehicle, I picked it up and immediately moved to Las Vegas and never had a chance to take it to the track. According to Straightline Performace, we kept the tune fairly mild and it put down 515 rwhp and 534 lb ft. They said that this should run a 10.20 quarter without the nitrous. But things have changed, I have opened a business in Las Vegas and I no longer have the time to enjoy the vehicle let alone take it to the track. I hate to see it go but at the same time, it does me no good having it sit in my shop when there is someone out there who can enjoy it and do everything I wish I could do with it.
All in all, I have made less than 10 passes on this vehicle in the last 10 years that I've owned it. The car is spotless! The front bumper is not even scuffed on it. I'm extremely picky about all of my cars/bikes and this was no exception. There are only 2 things that this vehicle needs to be 100% and they are very minor. Since the car sits in my shop (I do start it and let it run every week or two), the front tires have flat spots on them. Also, after the race seats were installed, the factory seatbelts no longer work so you would have to buy harnesses for them. So this vehicle comes with NO functioning seatbelts. The vehicle is available for inspection in Las Vegas at any time. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any and all questions. Please do not make any assumptions on what is included with the sale. Ask as many questions as you need to. The vehicle will not pass any smog/emissions testing and is not considered "street legal"...but we all know how that goes. Thanks for looking!
This vehicle is listed for sale locally. Please note that I do have the right to end the listing early if it sells prior to the end of the auction.
