2003 Ford Focus SVT ZX5 Description

One owner 2003 Ford Focus SVT. I am the original owner of this SVTF. Used only as a daily driver and has never been tracked and has not received any serious modifications just a short-throw shifter and a tow hitch for a bike rack and the occasional light 4x8 trailer. No collisions aside from the common shopping cart accidents. Two sets of keys.
The car has been really reliable. The factory mpg for the car (24 hwy/21 city) is underrated. I consistently average over 29mpg combined. On highway cruising at 70-75mph (with a few triple digit passing moments in between) I get around 33-35mpg - pretty good!
Still runs strong. Recent upkeep done to the car include a new set of brake rotors and pads (10k miles), new set of wheels and tires (original SVT wheels were in bad condition, new set is 16x7.5), replaced the front sway bar end-links. The front hub and bearings and right front axle were recently replaced unfortunately this caused the ABS warning light to come on. I purchased a new set of bearings and hubs and also purchased the left front axle. These have not yet been installed but I will include them with the car. The HID capsules were also replaced just three weeks ago - nice and bright!!
The ECU on the car was recently replaced. It was done through a dealership using a BRAND NEW ECU, not a used one purchased from a salvage. This is a part that is known to fail on these cars with this many miles/years hence I did not use a salvage part just for peace of mind. Car now seems to run better.
The backlight for the cluster gauge failed many years ago - also a known issue with SVTs. Apparently there is a cheap fix for it but I never got around to doing it.
The car has an aftermarket head unit and speakers.
I have kept up with the maintenance of the car. Oil change is exclusively synthetic. The timing belt, drive belts, and water pump were replaced as per manufacturer recommendations.
The majority of the pain on the body is still quite shiny. There is some fade and peeling on the front and rear bumpers. There is no major rust. There is some chipping on the hood from highway traveling.
