It has been in our Family since 1996, it was my sisters car and when she passed away my parents couldn'tpart with it so they kept it and towed it behind there motor home for over 10 years. Of the 156K shown on the odometer 70K were from towing the vehicle and not from driving it. My parents then gave my middle daughter the car and she drove it for few years, then my oldest daughter who is in the military drove the car for a few years as her "Airport" car. So when she was deployed she didn'thave to leave her nice car on base. Then when the Air Force moved her cross country, she decided to not take the car with her.... and here we are today. It is a GREAT little car, I just do not need it and it doesn'tmake sense to have it just sitting around. The car has a clear title (see last photo), there was minor damage to the front passenger fender in 1997 that was repaired.
The car starts right up, does not want to go into gear. The tires have about 19K miles on them and have road hazard replacement warranty thru Discount Tire and are in great condition. The brakes were checked last year and new brake cylinder was put on the drivers rear. It also has a new radiator and a new clutch master cylinder. The car will pass inspection with no issues, Just keep in mind it is 21 years old and IS NOT a beauty queen. If you need a good basic car that could be easy to repair and last another 100k miles, this is the car for you.
The plastic bumper cover in the back is cracked and broken. This part is easy to find and to put on if you want to fix it up. Non of the metal body panels are damaged. The photos show the bumper and the cracked plastic on the front bumper. there is 1 small cigarette burn hole in the drivers seat. I am not sure if the CD changer works, the radio does work. AC works great, heater is good but takes a couple of minutes for the car to warm up. All of the lights, wipers, etc all work. This car is not going into gear and will need to be towed, I dont know whats wrong with it and dont have time to mess with it.
It gets OVER 30 Mpg on the highway! It has good tires, good brakes, AC, Heat, RadioIt has been driven about 85K miles and towed about 70K miles
Yes, it is not worth much according to Kelly Blue Book $1500 retail. But I would rather someone that needs a car for not much money drive it and get some good use out of it.
