1995 Ford Escort Description

A well-used, dependable little station wagon for sale. I am the second owner, and it has been a great, efficient car for me for 16 years.

The Good...

• Clean and very well maintained given the age and mileage.

• Still gets 28 miles per gallon fuel economy.

• Newer, updated stereo/CD and speakers.

• Air conditioning and heat work well.

• Tires fairly new with a lot of good tread remaining.

• Tire chains included, never used.

• Bicycle racks attached.

• Easy to work on - oil/filter changes, plugs/wires, hoses, etc.

• Brand new 48-month battery, installed February 17, 2017.

The Bad...

• Very high mileage - 302,146 miles.

• Driver's side lap belt should be tightened or replaced.

• High-beam lights do not work.

• Still has original clutch, which is fine, but "mushy”.

• Windshield wipers work, but are weak.

• Battery cable connectors should be replaced.

• Will need new license plates.

The Ugly...

• Hood paint well faded, starting to chip and ding elsewhere, tree sap drippings.
