1968 Ford Mustang Sprint package Description
For sale today is a desirable Ford Mustang Coupe. Been garaged most of its life, this car is still a classic in daily driver condition. All the body panels and chrome appear to be pretty good.
-Roof is in good shape.
-Doors are good (see closeups of door undersides).
-Fenders are good with only surface scrapes.
-Hood has been changed out from original louvered hood. Current hood is rust free
-Original Straight 6 engine (still has the original Sprint 200 sticker)
-Transmission shifts fine. It was changed from its original 3 speed to current c4
-Dash is in good shape.
-Tires are good and is roadworthy
-Steering is responsive but needs some attention as it pulls a bit.
-New gas tank
-Has COMPLETE data tag, Vin number and has a MARTI REPORT
THIS IS A FUN CAR TO JUMP IN AND GO.
As you can see the car is pretty much RUST FREE. Floor panels are original and near perfect. Torque boxes are good. Frame rails solid. Trunk drops are good. Cowl is good (as this car was garaged most of its life. (Even the underside of the doors are good) Seats have been changed out and are pretty good except some wear on the drivers seat bottom. Rear seats are fine.
Car needs some body work due to bad sanding from previous paint job. Has a small dent in the rear bumper and has some rust by the gas tank on rear valence. Bolts on the drivers door need replacing and lock on the passenger door needs some adjusting.
Starts up EVERYTIME on FIRST CRANK. NO electrical draw. Does need some work to be PERFECTLY road worthy but not much at all...Fun car to hop in and go. Car is for sale with NO WARRANTIES expressed or implied. Sold as-is, how-is. $500 deposit is due at auction end with balance due within 3 days of auction end.
