Its summer time and what better to drive in the nice summer weather than a convertible and that's what I have for auction!
What I have for auction is my 1996 ford mustang convertible.
It has the 3.8 V6 with the odometer reading 106,9xx miles and climbing as it is my daily driver. the odometer reads that but its actually closer to 115k-120k due to the previous owner driving it for a year with a broken speedometer cable.
Also has the 4 speed automatic transmission including overdrive and an overdrive button beside shifter.
A/C blows cold and heater will burn you out of the car.
The top is in great shape with no rips or tears. works every time.
Interior is 7/10. its in good shape but could use a detailing. the clip holding the sun visor on the passenger side is missing but the visorstill hangs up, there is a small chunk missing out of the steering wheel which could be covered up with a steering wheel cover.There is also a tear in the driver seat which is a fairly common issue with the mustang. could be covered up with seat covers which are cheap.
Exterior is probably6-7/10 as well. itssolid with only 2 pen sized spots of rust on the driver side fender and that is it. the bumper is scuffed up from previous owner turning too close to something according to them. it also has a new headlight on the driversidedue to the previous owner having a low speed collision with a deer.
The tires are in decent shape with 50 or so percent left of tread. they probably have another year ortwo on them. Luckily, I have a set of brand new Aeolus tires already mounted on mustang rims to go with purchase of this vehicle, so you don't have to worry about tires. I don't have pictures of thenew tires but Iassure you that I have them andcan send pictures via text message if needed.
The car is undergoing an oilchange and brake job this week as you can see the parts in some of the pictures in this auction. car will have a fresh oil change and brand new brakes all around when you get the car. the car developed a pretty bad wobble when the brakes are pressed so it has warped rotors in the front right now.
Car is super reliable, it starts upevery time and will drive every time. I've driven the car on multiple 500+ mile trips and its never left me stranded and it wont leave you.
