Spring is just around the corner. How cool would it be to roll into one of the first car shows or cruise nights in this ol Thunderbird!? I went to a Thunderbird group online to get a fair value of my car. Opinions varied from $5k to $20k. This is a No Reserve auction. I'm letting you, my fellow car enthusiasts set the value & final bid.
I have a 1960 Thunderbird Convertible for sale. It is a nice, solid and complete car that needs a paint job. It runs and drives. The motor starts right up and idles nice and smooth. The power steering works nice and the trans operates in all gears. All of the glass is good and windows roll up and down. Wheels have been media blasted and painted. The wheel covers are an NOS set of Ford B9A-1130-A. The fuel tank and sending unit are new. I put a kit in the original Autolite 4100 but it wouldn't idle correctly. It currently has a 600 Holley on it that was an out of the reman by Holley. It runs perfectly but has a small fuel leak. The original carburetor is of course included. There is no rust whatsoever in the trunk area. Everywhere I pulled the carpet up there is nothing but red paint. Under the car there is no rust in the floor pans or rockers, zero. The only spot of rust in the whole car is the in the splash shield behind the front tire. This is the bolt in replaceable splash shield. From bumper to bumper thats only rust in the whole car.
All of the top hydraulics are there along with the big pack of relays. The hydraulics have not been messed with or removed. The screws and motor that hold the down were taken off of the deck lid. Those are laying in the trunk. I have the passenger seat frame with new foam and seat cover. I have the door panels and all of the other interior components. All of the windshield stainless is there. I was unable to modify the pictures in the ad. I can email or text additional pictures to you.
