2010 Ford Crown Victoria Description

Is it legal to own? Perfectly legal to own and drive, just do not pull anyone over. This is a 2010 Crown Victoria Police Cruiser. . Pursuit vehicle from the City of Houston Police. I purchased this car to park outside my strip center as businesses in the area were being burglarized at the time. The other tenants were very thankful to say the least. I had it at home for a few days and my neighbors asked if I could part it in the street at night lol. Everywhere you go in this car people will put on their seatbelts when they see you, and of course will not pull out in front of you or ride your butt. Also be prepared for people to ask how much for the light ba, push bar, or spot light once they see you get out in civilian clothes. I have a few guys who keep reminding me they will give me cash for those items. You will feel like the only person on the road, because nobody will pass you either. Its nice! :) Only reason I am selling it is I am ready for a police package tahoe and have found the one I want. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ GOOD: Strong battery. Clear blue Title Horn, signals, lights, radio, etc working great. (volume button for radio is sensitive). All fluid levels are good. Other than a small oil leak (see below) no leaks! Cold AC Hot heat Passed safety/emissions inspection with ease Tires are decent (run flats) whalen light bar works great (red/blue) and has strobes in the front headlight area. spot light works. siren with airhorn push bar is in great shape and is not bent. digital trunking police scanner with easy learn feature, listen to the local scanner while you drive limo tint tpms (tire pressure monitoring system) working great recently changed all 8 plugs and coil packs prisoner seat, prisoner partition, and window bars not currently installed but are included i saved all the hardware when taking out the above parts, and all the hardware to reinstall it is included rear "leather like" seat in excellent condition child safety bars in the back for a car seat if needed kevlar lined trunk organizer just had the front transmission seal replaced (common i$$ue on these you wont have to worry about), and when they did the replacement they also did the rear main seal while the transmission was down. Great peace of mind ! ____________________________________ BAD: One ac vent directional piece is missing, probably $5 at any junk yard. Does not effect the ac other than you cant aim one vent. Tires need to be balanced, shake in the steering wheel around 70mph. I did not balance the tire when I replaced the tire pressure sensor, and there was some water in that tire. might have alleviated the issue or might not have, have not been back on the highway since. Previous owner took a razor blade to the roof to remove the decal/adhesive and there is some damage to the paint. Luckily he stopped when he realized it. I left the adhesive on the roof because it gives it more of a "ghost car" look. The adhesive comes off easily with WD40 and a rag if you like, i removed the side decals using that method and it was easy. The body shows signs of service but there is no major damage or huge dents or anything. The rear bumper is a little bent as seen in the photos. SMALL SLOW oil leak from the oil filter adapter at the oil cooler, this is common on these police interceptor models, and an easy fix. The leak is so slow I was never concerned with it. __________________________________ Overall this would be an excellent car for home or business security, or as a work car or extra job car for any officer or security guard. There is no buy it now. I am rolling the dice and starting this with no reserve, penny start. Cashier's check from any major bank accepted but you WILL need to wait for it to clear before pickup, or, you may pay cash upon pickup. I can accept cards for the purchase of this vehicle but a 3% fee will apply. Also if you plan to drive this home, be advised you will have a hard time fitting the prisoner seat and prisoner partition into the back of the car, and you may have to leave those items behind. Assuming you are trailering it or having a car hauler pick it up, it should not be a problem but please do not forget to let your courrier know there will be additional pieces that will need to go with the car. If you have any questions please ask. This is a great car that has a lot of life left!

Just an addition on the description here - this car is listed as flex fuel. It takes regular gasoline like any other car, but can also run on E85 (use google if you do not know what that is). The car will run perfectly fine on regular, mid level, or premium gas at your gas station. Thanks!

Forgot to mentio, when the transmission shop did the front and rear seals they also replaced the converter which was $200 for just the part. Peace of mind on the road!
