Of the 299,824 ford mustangs produced in 1969, 13,193 were428cobra jets. 122 of these were convertibles, with 51 being R-Model, shaker hood versions. Only one was Candy Apple red with the below listed options. This car went through a nut and bolt concourse restoration 12 years ago, and has been driven to car shows for approximately 1500 miles since the restoration. The restoration has held up as the vehicle was stored in a climate controlled environment. This car does have minor road chips in the paint which is to be expected after 1500 miles of road use. This vehicle is completely original, and is a time capsule from the 1960’s. The vehicle is clean, straight and performs as it did the day it left the showroom. All components on this cararedate code correct and believed to be original to the vehicle. This car came out of a private collection and was purchased by me in July of 2013. Belowis list of components on the car.
