1966 Ford Mustang Description

3 Day Only Auction
For sale is my 1966 Mustang Convertible. Matching Numbers and clean titleThis is wonderful project. Spring is right around the corner. All the hard back-breaking work is complete. The entire underside is done, rust free and ready to go. The top side needs to be complete. 99% of all the parts are included, original parts and new parts.. There are brand new frame connectors that are connecting the front to rear frame rails. It is a kits that bolts on and off easily if you want to remove them- you can see them in one of the underside pictures- go can see all the wonderful work that has gone into the underside.
I have listed the starting auction price at $7,000 with no reserve. The car is worth over 10,000 with all the work that has been done so far. I figure the new owner needs to put another 10,00 into this car in parts and labor, and they will have a classic Mustang that will be worth $30,000. This is the bargin of the day to get this Mustang that is already half restored
All the frame rails and inner rockers are new. All the truck area and drops are new. new gas tank and full rear quarters. New radiator supports and cross members. New floor pans. New torque boxes all around. New original style wheels and tires. New front aprons. This car is Rock solid. Cowl does not leak.
Since all the lower part is straight and welded solid, the top part is next and needs to be done. This will be a great project for some who enjoys fit and finishing work.
Still to be done are door, front fenders- both are OEM and can use but work needs to be done on them. Next, the Convertible top, interior, need recovering. the bench seat needs a track or get buckets. Missing the correct convertible rear seat bottom. The 289 motor needs to be hooked up. C-4 trans is on the car- it needs a torque converter very easy to get and should be replaced anyways. The original motor was working when it was pulled out many years ago, it does turn over by hand, so it is not frozen. Power convertible top works. All the glass is intact and in good condition as well as the chrome. The car is a non-runner at this point, but rolls very nicely.
I have had the Mustang for awhile. It is a dream car for me for awhile. I can not work on cars like I use to and need to give it up. This is a great car for investment because it is a true C-code V-8 convertible. You can get any parts you need for Mustang these days. This might be the best way to invest in a real deal Mustang convertible. The original color was/is Ivy green, but you can paint it the color of your choiceThe car is sold as-is.The buyer is responsible for transportation. If you would like to see the car before the end of the auction, that would be fine, just email me. Winning bid is binding. I have the reserve low because since I have made the decision to sale it to must go. I have invested lots of money into the car. The welding was done professionally, they started from the bottom rear and worked up forward to be straight. Don't spend your money on a rusted out car, you'll be so much further ahead of the game with all the work that has already gone into THIS car$500 deposit right away and I would like the Mustang and all the parts out of my garage within the month, unless you work something out with me.call me with any questions, or would like other pictures.I can sell oversea, just know your shipping costs before you are the winner bid.
