This 1996 F-250 has been very reliable. It runs excellent can get up to 17 mpg on the highway. The drive train, suspension and brakes have been well maintained, with a new drive shaft, upper and lower ball joints, tune up, belts, plugs, parking brake components etc. Has excellent, nearly new General Discover mud and snow tires, vinyl bed liner. Just over 131,000 miles. 5 speed overdrive manual transmission. The clutch wasreplaced at 92,000 miles
The A/C was disconnected when I bought the truck in 2003, 2nd gear synchro is shot but upshifts smoothly, the dome light bulb is out, the bench seat is showing wear where the driver sits. Typical, or maybe less than typical Wisconsin rust for a truck this age. I don't drive it in the winter, but it did see winters to about 2005. Both rear wheel wells have perimeter rust, the drivers side, front fender rusted behind the front wheel. The passenger side is just showing some rust. Drivers floor board is weak, but that's an easy fix. It has a big trailer hitch, wire for lights and electric brakes. I think it's class IV for 10,000 lbs. (I never pulled anything near that heavy, and used it mostly for football games, hauling dirt, rocks and motorcycles.)
This truck has a lot of life in it and pulls strong. It will serve someone well for several years.
Willdeliver within 75miles of Milwaukee.
