I purchased this car new in 2000 while I was working for Ford Motor Company. The car has been driven to car shows and cruises through the local area. Driven enough to make sure everything stayed in excellent working order. All service was performed by Roush or Watson Engineering at one of their facilities using only recommended fluids and at proper intervals.
When this car was built, my son was working at the now closed Dearborn Assembly Plant and convinced me to buy this car, and since I was about to retire from Ford Motor Company I decided to do it. We watched the car roll down the assembly line through final delivery once it came out of the body shop. Once the car was delivered we took ownership at Avis Ford in Michigan.
There are lots of things I shouldn't need to say aboutthis car but will.
1) It has never been in any type of accident, nor does it have a mark on it, the car is absolutely flawless. It has been cared for like any extremely limited run of cars should.
2) I have all of the original paperwork that came with the car, including theSVT Cobra R Owners Book that was only given to people who bought the car.
3) The car was never even washed with water. It was kept covered in a garage, and only used on days that were guaranteed to be nice.
4) I do have the original brake ducting for the front brakes, it was installed on the vehicle by the dealer but was removed and stored before the car was driven.
I really enjoyed having this car all these years and the conversations it has started have been fantastic, and would love for someone else to really enjoy it! I don't need to sell the car if the price isn't reasonable. If you are serious you may contact me at anytime and I'd be happy to chat with you about the car.
I would like a $2000 non-refundable deposit -- I'll work with people if the car is not as advertised or some type of emergencyhappens. And trust me, the car is as advertised.
I do have this vehicle for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this at anytime should the car sell.
Thanks for looking!
