2000 FORD EXCURSION LIMITED 4X4

This auction is for a nice 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4. Please read the entire ad as I will be very detailed in the description.

If you are looking for the largest SUV ever made, here it is! This has been a great vehicle to me however my business needs require that I upgrade to a truck. This is the reason for selling this vehicle.

Now, I am not selling a mint condition vehicle. It has minor dents, indentions, scratches, rattles, etc. It is 16 years old and is far from perfect. However, if you are looking for a dependable large vehicle in fairly good condition with plenty of life left in it, please keep reading. Also, enlarge and look at the pictures closely. I am not trying to hide anything and want to be as detailed and honest as possible!

Condition:

Overall you can't beat this Excursion as it is probably one of the nicer 2000 ones out there. For being 16 years old is has held up very well.

- Currently has 203,400 miles which will go up slightly as I continue to drive it occasionally.

- Travels straight down the road with no pulling. Nice confrontable ride.

- Has a little tire / road noise from the aggressive tread tires at higher speeds. Also has a little minor vibration when in 4th gear at very low RPM's (around 1500 RPM's in 4th gear). Basically these big engines don't like to be at very low RPM's so I have always turned the overdrive off until I went on the highway. Nothing major here either.

Mechanical:

- I have all records since I have owned it. I have installed new front brakes and rotors, 10 new ignition coils, and oil changes during my ownership.

- The 4x4 does not currently work. I purchased it without it working. It is currently in 2WD. I purchased a brand new transfer motor (which is included) to attempt to fix it however I never had the need for the 4 wheel drive so I never installed it. I have never had an issue with getting stuck anywhere in this monster.

- Features a strong 300 horsepower, 6.8 liter, 10 cylinder engine – 4 speed automatic.

- Has a “tune-chip” installed for additional power.

- All gauges and lights works and all work and read correctly.

- Aftermarket mass air flow filter.

Interior Features:

- Front and rear cold A/C and hot heat – has controls in both front and back.

- Nice interior. All leather seating. Leather is pretty good condition, a couple of minor stains and holes but nothing major.

- Features captains chairs in second row and also has the 3rd row bench seat. All removable.

- Some minor carpet stains throughout the vehicle.

- Nice aftermarket Sony CD player with XM satellite radio.

- Has stock trip computer but also comes with a Scan Gauge trip computer mounted on the dash.

- Has power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver seat. Also has cruise control. All work great.

Exterior Features:

- Aftermarket head lights with LED daytime running lights.

- LED fog lights on the front bull bar. The bottom 2 come on with the headlights and the top 2 come on with the high beams.

- Nice front bull bar.

- Good tires – Approx. 70% life left.

- Comes with the towing package. Extendable towing mirrors and 10,000 pound capacity class IV hitch with a 2 inch receiver. I have also installed a brake controller which works great when towing a trailer equipped with brakes. Has both 4-pin and 7-pin acceptors.

- Custom Transformer grill on the front of the vehicle.

- Custom ION wheels with aggressive tread tires.

- Rear wiper.

- 20% window tint on all windows.

- Locking gas cap.

Closing the sale:

I am still making payments on the vehicle for business reasons. As far as title transfer, I can immediately deliver the car to you with a bill of sale. As soon as payment clears, I can immediately payoff the vehicle and make arrangements with you to transfer the title. I am extremely flexible and can accommodate your schedule to make everything happen as quickly and easily as possible. Kentucky requires that the title is notarized and transferred in person so please take that in to account as this needs to take place and the local court house during business hours. Also, the custom tag shown on the vehicle does not go with the vehicle so you will need to get your own tag of course.

The truck comes with the original owners manual and one key. It also comes with the remote to lock and unlock the doors.
