1999 Ford Contour SE Sedan 4-Door Description

• This unit was a daily driver until last month when I believe it broke a CV joint, passengers side
• This car faithfully took me to work and back every day as well as local errands around town, prior to the mechanical breakdown
• It starts and runs and brakes, however it does not move in any gear, also the "park" function on the transmission does not hold the vehicle
• Parking brake works, seat belts are good
• It gets a steady 25 miles per gallon around town, it was currently inspected when the breakdown occurred
• The driver's side rear door does not open
• It will need tires and a front end alignment
• It needs a flex pipe on the exhaust system
• Oil pan is bent and could use replacing, I was driving it as it was for months, also has a slow valve cover leak
• Engine runs strong and tranny was tight prior to the CV joint failure
• The interior is in fair condition
• The exterior is in overall good condition, with a few small creases on the passengers rear wheel well
• Paint is in fair condition with a couple of small rust spots on the hood of the car, clear coat is peeling on the rear clip
• This car is a great donor car and has a lot of useable parts
• If you are handy and have a lift it can be fixed and should be quite reliable once repaired
• If I had a garage I would fix it myself, but I don't so my loss is your gain.
