2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor Description

This is, in all likelihood, the lowest-mileage example of a 2004 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in existence. To be clear, this car was not wrecked, nor was it damaged otherwise, nor was it in a flood, nor was it rejected for something being wrong with it. It is, quite simply, a nearly-new Crown Victoria Police Interceptor that was put into service and rarely used. I was told it was, allegedly, assigned to the range instructor and that the car was, essentially, barely used. Obviously, it was also parked inside, or under cover, judging from it's appearance. It looks and smells new inside and, underneath and under the hood, it appears as close to new as I have ever seen...since 2004.
You are viewing a gorgeous, extremely low-mileage, absolutely beautiful 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. 2004 is known to be the most desirable year for the Crown Victoria which was, arguably, the best car ever produced in the world. Recently out of service from a department in Virginia, where it was assigned to the range officer for it's entire life, and with only2,908 actual, documented miles on it. This is a beautiful example of a very rare and very hard to find car.
To make it even better, this car is equipped with the rare, optional, 3.55 Traction-Lok Rear Differential (code C6).
This is an extremely low mileage example that is, likely, the nicest you will find for sale...anywhere, and it has a spotless Carfax and AutoCheck report.
If you have been waiting for an absolutely, as close to new as you can get, gorgeous, unmolested example of the most iconic car of all time...this is it. It is absolutely one of the nicest I have seen. This is one for the discerning collector or enthusiast. It is as close to "flawless" as you will find, short of having purchased one brand-new. If you have been waiting, don't wait any longer...this is one of the last few in existence and the only one with this low of miles. Aside from that, 2004 is known to be the best year for the Crown Victoria...they do not get any better, or nicer, than this.

This unit is optioned out as you would expect, including Light Flint (Gray) cloth front bucket seats that appear as new and matching vinyl rear seat, which has likely never been used. Aside from being a Police Interceptor, this car was also ordered with the coveted 3.55 ratio heavy-duty rear with Traction-Lok limited-slip differential, factory AM/FM stereo, and power mirrors, windows, trunk release, and locks. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car.

In my years of buying and selling police vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of this unit, it has been extremely well maintained and needs no repairs that I am aware of.
It is finished in Vibrant White Clearcoat with Light Flint (gray) interior. With only2,908 actual, original mileson it, the interior shows nearly zero wear and still smells new inside. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs, drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. It has never been abused and it looks as close to new as you will find, as well.

It is doubtful that anyone has ever sat in the back seat, the interior is absolutely mint.

The trunk compartment is extremely clean, and the full-size spare tire is in place.

This unit is also equipped with, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter SOHC V8 engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, optional heavy-duty 3.55 ratio heavy-duty Traction-Lok limited-slip rear differential, 225-60-16 police-spec, Good Year Eagle RS-A Plus ultra-high performance radials mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 17" vented police wheels with full, factory deluxe stainless-steel wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, police-spec 4-wheel disc brakes, severe-duty suspension, heavy-duty cooling, lamp pre-wire group, certified 140-mph speedometer, and much, much more.

For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you are probably already aware that the 2004 was the ultimate year for this car. It was the last year for the mechanical throttle linkage and the first year for the improved, higher-horsepower engine. This combination, unbeknownst to Ford at the time it was released, would prove to make the 2004 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor the quickest Crown Victoria ever produced...some estimate the 0-60 times are a full three seconds faster than the '05-'11 models.

2004 and newer years are the ones to own.All Crown Victorias produced from 2004-onward utilized the new, improved, 250-horsepower 4.6 liter V8 engine and are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes that were made, mainly in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake setup. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance.

Crown Victorias like this one are becoming nearly extinct, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for one of the nicest ones you will ever find in a beautiful color combination withultra-low mileage.
This unit is in absolutely excellent condition inside and out and is very clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is beautiful (please see the pictures). I do not slather motors with Armor All to make them appear nicer, or newer, than they are. The picture of this engine compartment is exactly as it was when the car was purchased...extremelyclean.

These are the Crown Victorias aficionados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast.
This is a factory, all white car, not a re-painted color change like you will see for sale elsewhere.

This unit is in absolutely gorgeous overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police package vehicle. This vehicle, as most used police vehicles do, will have imperfections...this typically includes; minor scratches, chips/touch-ups, nicks, dings, etc...that being said, this car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. Please, keep in mind, we strive to find the nicest used vehicles possible, but they are still used vehicles.
This is a very nice driving, tight unit...not a beat-up police car. It is as close to driving a brand-new car as you will ever experience. It has never been used for any type of patrol use.
DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2004 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE, IF AT ALL, IN THIS CONDITION.

Because of increasing expenses in every regard, we have been forced to raise our fees by $20, this is the first time in ten years that we have done this, so hopefully you will understand. There will be a $195 documentation fee and a $15 title fee added to each sale, these will be the ONLY additional fees you will be responsible for, unless you reside in the state of Ohio, in which case you will need to pay the proper amount of sales tax, based on the current rate for the county in which you reside. Temporary 30-day plate and registration is also available for $18.50. We do not charge any additional fees and there are no hidden charges. Most sellers are charging double this amount currently.

Because of people who bid and do not contact me or pay, I am being forced to implicate a rule pertaining to low-feedback bidders. ANY BIDDER WHO BIDS, WITH A FEEDBACK OF 5 OR LESS, WILL HAVE THEIR BID RETRACTED IMMEDIATELY unless they contact me first, prior to bidding. I hope everyone understands, and I thank our hundreds of happy customers, but a few bad apples have spoiled the proverbial bunch. Thanks for understanding.
Please remember, this is a used government vehicle, and not new, although it is probably as close to it as you will ever find. As such, it will have minor flaws consistent with the miles and age of the vehicle, and with government use including, but not limited to, holes from equipment and paint flaws. That being said, it is in beautiful shape and runs & looks absolutely as close to new as you will ever find. It is not what you would typically expect, or what you will find elsewhere for sale. Please, if you want to come and look at it, do so BEFORE bidding...or call me, as always, at 614-893-3857 or e-mail me and I will answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
