1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Description
1967 Mustang GT500 Eleanor #323 in the Eleanor Registry
This is a beautiful and well built Eleanor clone. This car is registered in the official Eleanor Registry and is #323. Here is a rare chance to own an affordable Eleanor that is actually worth owning. There are not many in this price range and most thatare in this price rangearen't worth owning. This is a coupe/fastback conversion car as you can tell by the VIN. That being said this is the nicest conversion you will ever see.All body gaps are perfect and the doors open and close amazingly well. You simply will not find a more solid or better built Eleanor clone. This car will hold its own parked next to any 150k+Eleanor recreation car. Here is your chance to own one of these you can actually drive and enjoywithout fear and without the 100k and up price tag.
The engine bay looks amazing. The motor is a 302 with headers and dual flowmasters out the sides. Exhaust is very well done and sounds SO good. Has MSD distributor and 6AL ignition. Edelbrock 600cfm carb. Ford Perf. wires and looms. Shelby style valve covers and air cleaner. Transmission is a T5 5 speed. Ford 9 inch rear end with I believe a 3.25:1 gear. Power Disc brakes on all 4 corners. This thing runs and drives perfect.
The body on this car is PERFECT and the paint is almost show quality. I only say almost because I am sure if you bring your magnifying glass and spend enough time you could find a flaw or 2 but it wouldn't be much I promise and you would really have to look for one. That being said there is 2 scratches one on each front wheel opening lip. When I had the car shipped out here to Colorado the shipper scratched both fenders with his straps. I only ever notice them when I wash it and had never found a painter I trusted to touch the car so I left them alone. I am being very picky here but just want you to know exactly what your getting. The paint and body is nice enough to win car shows. The chrome and rubber sealsare all in great condition. This car was built VERY well and it shows through out. The floorboards are impressive. Torque boxes and front rails are perfect and clean. There is NO rust anywhere on this car. Super solid top to bottom.Trunk is finished nicely and looks great as well.
This is such a cool car the new owner will love it. We originally bought this car for my wife to drive and enjoy. She simply hasn't used it and it just sits here on the battery tender taking up shop space so it is time to find a new owner. Call or email with any questions 970-985-2332 Luke.
