Our familyhasbeen doing missionary work (building aschool and supporting kids that have been kicked out of crooked orphanages) in Liberia, West Africa for about the last 6 years and we have just recently decided to move over there permanently (my wife and our five kids and myself). Thanks for listening and now on to this Ford truck. It is avery nice 2001 Ford F350 XLT 4x4 7.3 Powerstroke 6 speed manual crew cab short box for sale. I bought it from the original owner who took great care of it and maintained it thoroughly. He had every oil change listed in a book. It was his daily driver and it was not used hardas a work truck. The truck has not seen a hard life at all. The most it hauled was a couple of his private horses for hunting and some hay for them. It was a western truck its whole life and the excellent body attests to that fact. Paint is nice and shiny and has held up great. The body isnice and straight and it has not been in any accidentsaccording tothe Carfax.No body rust through like back east.Only little bits of surface rust fromrock chips and paint flakes. The interior isnear flawlessand very clean (little wear where driver gets in and out). Sitting on the driver seat feelslike new. Dash and door panels are stunning and have no cracks. It is highly optioned with 6 CD changer, air conditioning, cruise control, power driver seat, and sliding rear window. The truck runs and drives excellent. Glow plugs work great and the truck starts excellent. Very smooth running truck. You can take the oil fill cap off and turn it over and put it over the oil fill hole, to check for blowby, and the cap just sits there and does not move. Four wheel drive works great. Clutch is strong and does not slip. Little noise from the pilot bushing. It has a B & W turn over ball in the bed. AC will need a recharge. Mileage is 315k. Tires are not great, but I have another set we can work into the deal if you need them. It truly is a nice solid truck that drives well.
