7.3 POWERSTROKE DIESEL
Classic OBS Ford! Tough to let this one go..This is a 3 owner truck, bought new in Montana, has been in Wyoming for over 12 years. Documented since 2005 from the 2nd owner. I know both the original owner and 2nd owner. The miles are 184,825, actual, I do drive it so they may creep up close 185,000 by sale. Garaged most of it's life, except two years in Douglas, Wyoming.
ENGINE & Drivetrain: Stong running original engine! 6 position TS Performance chip. 3" downpipe from turbo to exhaust, cat delete. Sounds great! It is a little louder than stock obviously. Engine will drip a drop or two of oil after a long trip from converter inspection plate.Transmission replaced at 155,000 miles, Bullydog shift enhancer and tranny cooler pan added. Helps shift points, made a big difference. Gauges added (in photo of interior). Shifter tightened and inspected this spring. Suspension is tight, breaks are solid. Rear is bagged (good condition, no leaks). Good Year Duratrac 285/75 installed at 168,000. I have all the receipts for services. Recent tranny, coolant and gear lube flush. Always serviced at the dealership with Ford/Motorcraft parts and lubricants. Rides nice, and cruises down the road smooth. Fun to drive!
Exterior: Rust Free Western Truck! One of the prettiest and most desirable colors for these old trucks. The paint is very shiny, waxed regularly and in great condition over all. There a blemishes, but not bad for a 20 year old pick up. I'll start from the front and try to disclose all the flaws. There are several pictures as well. Hood and front end have small rock chips here and there from normal road use. Front bumper and grille guard are straight and in good condition. Inside corner of front bumper have been notched to accommodate the 285 tires. Ding in driver side wheel opening trim. Windshield cowl panel is dented. Small dent and scuff in passenger side door trim. Lower pinstripe decals are peeling in places. Dents in front bed sides from slide in camper anchors. 6" scratch above passenger rear wheel. Dent below rear fuel door and scratches above taillight where my wife backed into the truck with our Expedition (the truck won, big time). New Taillights on both sides. A dings and scratches in the tailgate. Holes drilled into bumper for camper anchors.Overall a Really Solid, Good Looking truck!
Spray-in bed liner!
Fiberglass topper was repainted 2 years ago, painter nicked the lower edges in places with DA sander and broke the upper break light housing. Window and struts are in good condition. At least he matched the color right!
Interior: Tan cloth, split-bench seats, flip up console. Keyless entry, power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, A/C (will freeze you out), manual transfer case. New New Kenwood CD Player and upgraded Kenwood speakers. Clean and comfortable! Dash pad is perfect. Front seats have a few worn spots in the cloth (see photos), but still firm. Lumbar works. Console /cup holder has had the retractable cover removed and clips are broken.. does make getting loose change out easier. Driver's window has scratches in the window tint. Weatherguard floor mats. Door panels are tight, clips replaced on front two doors. Driver's door handle/latch assembly replaced. Doors are tight, with no wind noise.
