1997 Ford F-250 XLT Description

1997 Ford F250, crew cab, shortbox, 4x4 off road, 7.3 Powerstroke, automatic transmission, royal blue exterior paint, blue interior, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, cruise control...... AND UNDER 153,000 MILES!
Clean for a 20 year old pickup, it has some rust, some hail, and clear coat failing in places. Being straight forward, no surprises for the new owner to find out after the auction has ended. Very solid, used for RV towing and daily driver. All power options working- air conditioning, power windows and locks, cruise. Hard start cold, runs with no misfire or hesitation, transmission shifts through the gears just like it should, no warning lights on dash or transmission shifter. No leaks under pickup, both fuel tanks working.
Rust located- -lower left front fender -above right rear wheel well -right rear quarter panel
Hail on hood and top of cab. These are larger dents, does not make it look like a golf ball or that someone took a hammer to it, but is noticeable.
Clear coat is failing on the hood, and right side of cab/cab doors. Left side does not appear to be failing and looks excellent. I did not try to polish or wax, only washed with water and brush.
Front bed panel is pushed/bent forward to the back of the cab.
Interior is exceptionally clean, other than cigarette burns in drivers seat and right side vent window latch is broke. No other missing pieces that I could see, no cracks in dash. New windshield installed. Has aftermarket window tint on side and rear windows, and the tint is scratched.
Needs new tires, especially the rear tires as they are weather checked/cracked.
The bed of the pickup has holes from 5th wheel plate mounting which has been removed, and gooseneck hitch which is still in place.
Heavy duty rear bumper hitch
No leaks under pickup, everything is stock including shocks and exhaust system. Surface rust only on frame, no rust through or rust flaking. Steering and suspension tight.
This is a very nice OBS (Old Body Style) Powerstroke, has not been touched up, repainted or freshly undercoated. Hard to find crew cab shortbox 4x4 Off Road in Royal Blue. Use it as it is, or repair the blemishes to your liking. If you have been looking for a solid OBS with these options, bid to win and own! This is as original and solid as they come! Mileage may go up by auction end.
